Against the Current is a beautiful documentary about Veiga Grétarsdóttir, the first person in the world to kayak around Iceland against the current. The challenge was to convey this admirable transgender woman's life and accomplishments without lapsing into cliché, along with the wonderful Icelandic landscape. My poster showcase in an optimistic way not only her inner conflict but also her ability to move past it, thanks to her peaceful strength and her positive outlook on the world.
